Fundraise for the 5K!

Why Fundraise?

The Spring Chicken 5K is one of the ways that we generate money to support our ministry.

Your donations and collected funds will go directly to LC Medical & Support Services, helping to provide free resources to women, men and families in your community!

Collect sponsors (on your Pledge Form or your personalized Fundeasy Page) who will individually fund YOUR race so that you can make an impact as you run!

The team raising the MOST amount of money will win the TOP TEAM TIE AWARD in memory of former

board member David Crossett. David served on the board of LC Medical and Support Services from

2015 until he entered his heavenly home on June 29, 2022. David was a passionate advocate for the

unborn, and faithfully supported Life’s Choices (as it was called then). David was also a faithful

participant in the Spring Chicken 5k from the very first year it was held, in 2012. He was a top finisher

each year and won first place overall multiple times. He was a strong competitor, but also a great

cheerleader for each person crossing the finish line.

This year we are awarding the team raising the most amount of money with the TOP TEAM TIE AWARD in memory of David
Crossett. An attorney, David was known for wearing a yellow tie with blue stripes whenever he was in court. A
commemorative tie will be awarded to each member of the winning team, giving them crowing rights as this year’s top
fundraiser at the Spring Chicken 5k! Team funds are tracked online as each member solicits donations through their fundraising
page, set up at registration. Offline donations can be posted as well, and team leaders will show on the home page. All donations must be entered on your online page by midnight on April 25 (the night before the race). Ties will be given at registration to the winning team. Your efforts will honor the memory of David Crossett, and the funds raised will be used to bring HOPE and
HELP to those in need of our services.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge will award to me on that day – and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:6-8 NIV
